C orman Memorial Home began in 1945. Rudy and Margaret Corman purchased the William Lee residence which was built in 1835. Rudy grew up in Rushville IL and graduated from Worshams College of Mortuary Science in 1941. He then worked at Wilton Mortuary in Peoria until he and his wife came to Roseville where they owned and operated the funeral home until 1977. During their years they also purchased London Mills in 1957 and Avon in 1963.
